Benefits to Your Business
We provide dust extraction and general housekeeping systems for businesses within the aggregate industry to effectively collect harmful dust and maintain cleanliness in the workplace.
- Improved Productivity
The high power suction of a BEAM industrial fixed vacuum system allows for the quick removal of dust and can accommodate multiple users simultaneously. Decreasing time spent cleaning means employees can focus more of their time on the production process.
- Enhanced Indoor Air Quality
Removing hazardous dust from the workplace improves indoor air quality which has many benefits for staff. It can create a more comfortable environment and reduce the risk of work related respiratory conditions.
- Health & Safety
The effective removal of dust and other harmful substances generated during the production process is required by health & safety laws and COSHH regulations. Our systems meet or exceed the requirements set out by the regulations. Our industrial fixed vacuum systems also help minimise trip hazards due to the retractable hose reel mounted at high level.
- Reduce Exposure to Respirable Crystalline Silica (RCS)
Silica can be found in rocks, sand and clay and is therefore present in products such as bricks and concrete. During the production process when these materials are cut or sanded, a fine dust is created called Respirable Crystalline Silica. Exposure to RCS can lead to numerous respiratory conditions. HSE do not recommend sweeping and suggest a vacuum cleaner. Our fixed and portable vacuum systems are suitable to safely vacuum RCS and protect workers' health.

Frequently Asked Questions
Here are some answers to your most frequently asked questions about our industrial dust & fume extraction systems.

If your workplace produces dust (e.g. flour dust in bakeries), mist (e.g. paint mist from spraying), fume (e.g. from welding), gas (e.g. carbon monoxide from furnaces or vehicles) or vapour (e.g. solvents from painting), there may be a risk to the health of employees and will require an extraction system.
What is the best system for my workplace?
If there is a dust or fume issue as a by-product of the manufacturing process a customised solution can generally be found to alleviate the problem. BEAM's qualified engineers have experience dealing with many different issues and problems, and can develop and provide bespoke solutions which best suit your requirements.
