How a Downdraught Bench Works
Tasks can be carried out on the bench work top which is constructed from perforated 2mm HD steel plate. The unit features an integrated fan and filters which provide suction to remove any dust or fume from the process with the cleaned filtered air then returned to the workshop.

Yes, our downdraught benches comply with both COSHH and HSG258 regulations.
How often do filters need changed?
To provide adequate levels of extraction, we recommend changing the filters on a downdraught bench every 6-12 months, dependent on system usage. A BEAM engineer will advise on each individual case.
